| | Disclaimer | | | | | | 1) Richmond Languages will do its utmost to make their courses as enjoyable as possible and provide the arrangements that have been confirmed, but it does reserve the right to modify or cancel any course schedule due to unforeseen circumstances. This includes but is not limited to, changing a venue, providing a cover teacher for teacher sickness or absence, cancelling a lesson and postponing a lesson for a week or offering an alternative date.
2) By registering with Richmond Languages, you agree that neither Richmond Languages nor its associates or employees shall be liable for any damages that may arise, direct or indirect, from their programme. These include, without limitation, damages arising out of communicating with other participants in programmes organized by Richmond Languages. Such damages include, without limitation, loss or damage to property, physical damages, bodily injury and or emotional distress and discomfort or loss.
3) Richmond Languages shall not be liable for any injuries or damages of any kind which result from any goods and services provided by third parties under the Richmond Languages name. These include damages and injuries which result from the venues and/or materials that we use for our courses. In the unlikely event of such injuries or damages arising you agree not to hold liable Richmond Languages nor its associates or employees with respect thereof.
4) In addition, Richmond Languages is not liable for any damage, without limitation, which results from using the Richmond Languages Web Site and its Student Intranet Site. Furthermore, our web site Richmondlanguages.com may contain links to other web sites. Please note that when you click on one of these linked sites as they may differ from ours. Richmond Languages is not liable for any negligent service or damages that you might that you might experience as a result of using these linked sites. If you have any technical difficulties using the Richmond Languages Web Site please contact Technical Support on support@richmondlanguages.com. | | | | | | Terms and conditions | | | | | | 1) By booking a course with Richmond Languages you warrant and represent that you abide by all the terms and conditions of this agreement. If you do not agree to the terms, please do not register for Richmond Languages courses.
2) By attending a Richmond Languages course you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
3) When booking a course with Richmond Languages, the name on your bank statement will be Swift Events.
4) Richmond Languages holds the right to change the Terms and Condition at any given time without prior notification to its existing customers, and amend the price of course tickets without notice or recourse to existing purchasers.
5) Richmond Languages is authorised to refuse admission or expel, without refund, any person who is in breach of our terms, offensive, disrespectful and/or disruptive in the opinion of Richmond Languages, their employees or associates. We may terminate your license to attend a course at any time, without explanation, effective upon delivering a verbal or written notice to you.
6) All material, texts, images and other copyrightable content and works made available on the site by Richmond Languages are protected by copyright and design rights. You may not copy, download, reproduce, post, broadcast, transmit, make available to the public, modify any part of the website, or otherwise use www.richmondlanguages.com content in any way except for your own personal, non-commercial use.
7) For security and protection of our participants, a booking form must be completed which must include your home address. Please note that Richmond Languages will keep confidential all information supplied by you to Richmond Languages, and shall use or disclose such information only for the purpose for which such information was collected, or as required by law. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details. | | | | | | Payments, Cancellations and Refunds | | | | | | 1) A payment of all fees must be made in full before the start of a course.
2) Cancellation/Refund Policy
More than 14 days' notice: full refund minus £30 admin fee
More than 14 days' notice: free transfer*
14 days or less: No refund/ no transfer
* Transfer to a course of the same value or less. Otherwise, the difference is to be paid.
(i) After a booking has been processed, Richmond Languages does not give refunds within 14 DAYS of the course start date. If you cancel more than 14 days before a course starts, refunds are subject to a £30 administration fee per place booked. You may transfer for free to another course provided you give us more than 14 DAYS notice. Alternatively, a friend can attend in you place. Please notify us in writing with his/her details. If you transfer more than once you will be charged a £30 administration fee.
(ii)) In order to receive a refund or transfer, a written notification from the student to info@richmondlanguages.com and confirmation of receipt of this notification by Richmond Languages is required more than 14 days before the course start date. Persons who do not attend a course without a written notice will not be refunded.
(iii) Any missed lessons will not be refunded. However, you will normally be able to connect with our student Intranet to view what has been covered and download any extra material.
(iv) We will not refund customers who are dissatisfied with any of the venues or their services used by Richmond Languages.
3) In the event Richmond Languages are unable to run a course, or make suitable alternative arrangements, the student will be entitled to a full refund. Refunds will be processed within 4 - 10 days depending on your bank.
4) Very occasionally, Richmond Languages may need to change venues. We will email and phone to inform you of such a change. We do not give compensation for a change of venue. In addition, if the contact details you have provided are not correct and we are not able to contact you, we are not liable to give you a refund in case you turn up at the wrong venue. | | | | | | Disclaimer of Warranty | | | | | | 1.1) Richmond Languages aims to make your experience with our organization as hassle-free and smooth as possible. However, we do not offer warranties of any kind, expressed, implied, statutory, in any communication with Richmond Languages or its associates, or otherwise with respect to the service. Richmond Languages does not warrant that your use of our organization will be safe, uninterrupted, always available, error-free or will meet your requirements.
1.2) For suggestions, complaints or feedback, please email support@richmondlanguages.com. If you are unhappy about any aspect of the teaching please inform us immediately in writing. We cannot deal with issues or complaints retrospectively. Richmond Languages reserves the right to offer solutions to the issue such as speaking to the teacher about the problem or offering the student an alternative course.
2) We require a minimum number of 4-5 students depending on the course. If there are fewer bookings for a particular class then it is at our discretion whether the course will run. However, we will usually try and modify the course to reflect the smaller group (for example, a reduction of hours, from 10 weeks to 8 weeks).
3) Richmond Languages is unable to guarantee at any time that a certain teacher will take a course.

2. Changes of Terms
We reserve the right and may change the terms of this agreement from time to time. Any changes or updates will be effective immediately upon posting. By continuing to use the website after we post any changes, you accept and agree to this agreement, as modified.
Richmond Languages is entitled to change any course fees or membership subscriptions without notice or recourse to existing purchasers.
3. Cancellation by You
You may cancel your online membership within the 30-day money back guarantee offer, which entitles you to cancel your online subscription/membership and have the full cost refunded to you up to 30 calendar days from your first date of payment. Please make any such cancellation by emailing support@richmondlanguages.com. You are entitled to one refund only. After your refund, any future memberships/subscriptions will no longer qualify for the 30-day money back guarantee. Note that this 30-day money back guarantee does not include payments for our face-to-face courses
4. Cancellation by Us
We may terminate or suspend your account with www.richmondlanguages.com as a result of your fraud, abusive use of our site or a breach of any obligation under these Terms. Such termination or suspension may be immediate and without notice. A breach of these Terms includes, without limitation, the unauthorized copying or downloading of our audio or video content from our site.
5. Proper Use
You agree to use www.richmondlanguages.com for lawful purposes only, and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of www.richmondlanguages.com. Prohibited behaviour includes harassing or causing distress or inconvenience to any person and uploading transmitting obscene or offensive content or malicious software including viruses, logic bombs and any other harmful data and material. Richmond Languages reserves the right in these circumstances to cancel your membership upon immediate effect.
You are, furthermore, not authorised to lease your own account, grant sub-licences, share your user account with other persons, and/or grant others access to the paid services of www.richmondlanguages.com. In such a case Richmond Languages shall be indemnified and reserves the right to block your user account without notice as soon as there is an indication of improper use.

You agree that Richmond Languages is not responsible or liable for the availability, accuracy, resources, content, products, or services of such websites or resources. Links to such websites or resources do not imply any endorsement by Richmond Languages of such websites or their resources. By registering with Richmond Language, you agree that neither Richmond Languages nor its associates or employees are liable for any damages, direct or indirect, that may arise from using www.richmondlanguages.com. These damages include, without limitation, loss of data, loss of revenue or anticipated profits, loss of business, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill or injury to reputation, losses suffered by third parties, emotional distress or any other damages. If your use of material on this website results in the need for repair or correction of equipment, software or data, you agree to be liable for all costs thereof.
